What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialized, gentle massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system. By using light, rhythmic movements, MLD encourages the flow of lymph fluid, aiding in the removal of toxins, reducing selling, and supporting the body’s immune system. Unlike traditional massage, MLD targets the superficial lymph vessels just beneath the skin, making it a non-invasive and soothing treatment.

Who can benefit from MLD?

If you are not contraindicated. ANYONE can benefit from Manual Lymphatic Drainage. MLD is beneficial for individuals experiencing:

  • Post-operative swelling: Especially after surgeries like liposuction, tummy tucks, and BBL’s.

  • Chronic Conditions: Such as fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, or chronic fatigue syndrome.

  • Detoxification needs: To support the body’s natural cleansing processes.

  • General Wellness: Enhancing relaxation and reducing stress.

CONTRAINDICATIONS include:

  • Acute Infections

  • Rental Failure

  • Acute DVT/Post DVT

  • Acute Bronchitis

  • Cardiac Edema

It’s normal to feel subtle shifts in your body as it responds to your session. These are common and usually temporary:

  • Increased urination as your body clears fluid and releases waste

  • A feeling of lightness, calm or deep relaxation

  • Mild fatigue and thirst - your body is adjusting and re-balancing

  • A desire to rest - listen to your body and give it what it needs.

We recommend drinking plenty of water (8-10 glasses that day) and allowing time for rest if possible. These responses are part of your body’s natural healing and detox process.

  • Targeted Manual Lymphatic Drainage (1-2) Areas (60 min.)

    Ideal for NON-SURGICAL edema or fluid buildup. This is focused MLD for localized swelling or congestion (e.g., legs, arms, abdomen). $125

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time are subject to the full service fee.

  • If you must cancel within 24 hours, please notify us as soon as possible. If we are able to fill your appointment slot, the fee may be waived.

  • No-shows will automatically be charged the full service fee.
