Meet your Therapist…

Soomi Krysta Lim LMT, MLD, CPST

Soomi Krysta Lim, LMT, MLD-C, CPST, is the founder and owner of Williamsburg Massage & Lymphatic Therapy. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, and Certified Plastic Surgery Therapist with advanced training in oncology and plastic-surgery lymphatic therapy.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Soomi spent more than 15 years working in the medical field, including internal medicine, foot and ankle surgery, and medical aesthetics. That experience shaped her thoughtful approach to care and inspired her to create a practice where clinical knowledge, skilled touch, and genuine compassion come together.

Soomi specializes in lymphatic therapy for post-surgical recovery, oncology recovery support, swelling, general wellness, and healthy lymphatic function. She understands that every person—and every stage of recovery—is different. Each visit begins with a consultation to discuss how you are feeling, what has changed, and what your body needs that day. Your session is then carefully customized to meet you where you are.

Depending on your needs, Soomi may incorporate therapeutic massage, myofascial techniques, cupping, hot stones, aromatherapy, body brushing, or other supportive modalities. When continued care may be beneficial, she will discuss a personalized treatment plan designed to support your progress or help you establish a consistent self-care routine.

As the owner of Williamsburg Massage & Lymphatic Therapy, Soomi is committed to creating a higher standard of individualized care and building a team that shares her values of professionalism, compassion, and intentional service. Her goal is for every client to feel heard, supported, and confident in the care they receive.

“I look forward to helping you feel your best, gently, intentionally, and one session at a time.”

Laura Grove, LMT

Laura Grove, LMT, brings more than 20 years of massage therapy experience and a deeply intuitive, personalized approach to every session. Her skills were further refined while working in a renowned resort-spa setting, where she developed the elevated, deeply restorative relaxation massage experience for which she is known.

Laura specializes in Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Shiatsu, thoughtfully incorporating these techniques according to each client’s needs. Myofascial Release uses gentle, sustained pressure to address restrictions within the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding the muscles—with the goal of easing tension, improving mobility, and supporting more comfortable movement. Craniosacral Therapy uses a very light-touch approach to encourage deep relaxation, calm the nervous system, and gently release patterns of tension throughout the body. Shiatsu may also be incorporated through focused pressure and rhythmic techniques to promote balance and relaxation.

Every visit begins with a brief consultation to discuss how you are feeling and what your body needs that day. Laura then customizes your session—whether you are seeking focused therapeutic work, relief from everyday tension, or a peaceful full-bodyrelaxation experience—to meet you exactly where you are.

When appropriate, Laura may also recommend a treatment plan to support continued progress or help you establish a consistent self-care routine. Her warm presence, extensive experience, and ability to blend effective therapeutic techniques with profound relaxation make each session a truly individualized experience.

Jill Quinlan, LMT

Jill Quinlan, LMT, brings a thoughtful mind-body perspective to massage therapy. As both a Licensed Massage Therapist and yoga instructor, she has a strong appreciation for the connection between muscular tension, movement, stress, and the nervous system. She offers both Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage at Williamsburg Massage & Lymphatic Therapy.

Jill’s specialty is Neural Reset Therapy, an innovative technique that works with the nervous system rather than relying on forceful pressure to release tight muscles. Using gentle, precise movements and sensory input, Neural Reset Therapy encourages the nervous system to reassess muscular tension and allow the body to let go. This approach may be especially helpful for clients experiencing persistent tightness, discomfort, limited movement, or muscles that do not seem to respond to traditional massage alone.

Jill understands that some clients need focused therapeutic work, while others need an opportunity to slow down and fully decompress. She may incorporate Neural Reset Therapy into a targeted massage or create a calming, restorative session centered on relaxation and stress relief. Her yoga background also influences her awareness of movement, breath, and the way tension patterns can affect the body as a whole.

With a grounded presence and attentive approach, Jill creates an experience that feels both purposeful and restorative. Her goal is to help clients leave feeling more comfortable, more relaxed, and better connected to their bodies.
